At Kika Jewelry, we are committed to delivering your favorite pieces as quickly and safely as possible. We use an automated system to process both retail and wholesale orders efficiently.
Below you will find the detailed terms of our local and international shipping operations.
1. Shipping Coverage
We provide domestic and international shipping to the following destinations:
Dominican Republic: Nationwide shipping via local delivery and courier services.
International: We ship to all of North America (including Mexico), Europe, Colombia, Chile, and selected countries in Latin America.
2. Processing Times
Retail Orders: Orders are processed and packed within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation.
Wholesale Orders: Since we operate with high volume and automated factory-direct integrations, wholesale orders have a factory preparation and dispatch time of 3 to 5 business days.
Note: Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or major holidays.
3. Estimated Delivery Times & Rates
Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on the package weight and final destination.
Local Shipping (Dominican Republic): 2 to 5 business days once the order has been dispatched.
Direct International Shipping: 7 to 15 business days, depending on the destination country and local customs processing times.
4. Courier & Freight Forwarding Disclaimer (Crucial)
To optimize delivery speed and shipping costs, our international fulfillment network utilizes a consolidation hub (Courier/Freight Forwarder) located in the United States, from which packages are forwarded to their final destination.
Transfer of Liability: Our responsibility for the shipment ends the moment the carrier logs the package as "Delivered" to the designated US courier/forwarder address.
Kika Jewelry is not liable for any customs delays, seizures, damages, or losses that may occur during the secondary transit phase (from the US courier facility to the client’s ultimate address in the Dominican Republic or other nations).
5. Order Tracking
Once your package is shipped, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking number. You will be able to monitor your shipment's journey directly through the provided link or via your customer profile on our store.
6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international deliveries, the buyer is solely responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, or handling charges imposed by the destination country. Kika Jewelry has no control over these charges and cannot estimate their cost.
7. Incorrect Addresses and Unclaimed Packages
Please verify your shipping address thoroughly before completing your purchase. We are not responsible for delivery failures resulting from incorrect, incomplete addresses, or the recipient's absence.
If a package is returned to our facilities due to an incorrect address entry or because it went unclaimed, the customer will be responsible for paying the shipping fees to have the item resent.
